Recently, representatives of a telecommunications company were going door-to-door in the neighborhood, and were subsequently asked to leave by board members; they were later seen again continuing their efforts in the neighborhood.  The Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department reminds residents that all solicitors are required to apply for and obtain a permit from TCSD.  Even with a permit, door-to-door soliciting of any kind is prohibited in BBF;  there is signage posted at each entrance to the neighborhood to assist in reinforcing this covenant.  If you experience unwanted solicitors in the neighborhood, please inform the solicitors (if you feel comfortable doing so), and contact the Tippecanoe County Sheriff and the WLPD to inform them as well.
